A compressor that models optical response. Start with PEAK REDUCTION, GAIN, RATIO and MIX. PRO mode gives you finer control over the cell response, analog character and peaks.
01 / OPTICAL RESPONSE
Optical response
Set the compression amount with PEAK REDUCTION and the output level with GAIN. RATIO ranges from 1.5:1 to 10:1; MIX blends in the dry signal.
02 / CELL AGE
Three cell ages
Choose New, Classic or Vintage for different optical cell responses. The selector lives in the PRO panel on the right.
03 / FINISHING
Character & peaks
DRIVE adjusts analog saturation and weight. COLOR adjusts bass warmth and treble smoothness. A limiter with TRUE PEAK detection keeps output peaks in check.

PRO mode.
PRO mode gives you detailed control over the compressor’s response and analog character.
For engineers who want to fine-tune its behaviour for each source.
